Soil and water research department started its activity in 1982 in the form of agricultural research center, natural resources of Yazd province. During this period, as a sample, the book on natural scenery of Yazd province written by Dr. Attaullah Qabadian with the help of several experts and the help of experts who later worked in the soil and water research department of Yazd center was offered. In the following, Yazd Department of Soil Science was established by the Institute of Soil Science in 1986 and followed by the provincial authorities, along with other research departments related to agriculture in the form of the Agricultural Research Center, research activities and since 2003 with the integration of the Research Center. Agriculture and Natural Resources and Livestock Affairs Research Center and formation of Agriculture and Natural Resources Research Center, Soil and Water Research Department continues its activities.Currently, two faculty members, two laboratory experts and one laboratory expert are working in this department as a corporate force.During this period, as a sample, the book on natural scenery of Yazd province written by Dr. Attaullah Qabadian with the help of several experts and the help of experts who later worked in the soil and water research department of Yazd center was offered.
